Consume APIs

The Consume APIs section of the Zilla Platform provides a secure, governed environment for discovering and subscribing to published API Products.

It enables internal and external applications to self-serve API access through standardized plans and credentials, ensuring controlled usage and observability across the organization.

This model defines how consuming services interact with published APIs.

Applications represent consuming services or clients that connect to API Products. An Application can have multiple Subscriptions.

Subscriptions represent approved access to a specific API Product. Each Subscription links exactly one Application to one API Product. An API Product can have many Subscriptions across different Applications.

Zilla Platform simplifies how consumers discover, subscribe, and securely connect to APIs through managed identities and automated credential provisioning.
