Providers
Each provider is reached through its own llm · client binding. Add one client per provider or deployment, and point routes on llm · proxy at it.
| Provider | dialect | server | Credentials | Edition |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| OpenAI | openai | https://api.openai.com | The caller's key, as Authorization: Bearer | Zilla |
| Anthropic | anthropic | https://api.anthropic.com | The caller's key, as x-api-key | Zilla |
| AWS Bedrock | aws-bedrock | https://bedrock-runtime.<region>.amazonaws.com | AWS Signature Version 4, from the AWS credentials Zilla runs with | Zilla Plus |
Connecting to a Provider
exit: sys:http_client connects over HTTP, or over TLS when the server URL is https://, trusting the standard certificate authorities and using the URL's host for SNI:
openai_llm_client:
type: llm
kind: client
options:
dialect: openai
server: https://api.openai.com
exit: sys:http_clientTo control the connection yourself, exit to your own http · client, tls · client, and tcp · client bindings instead. An AWS Bedrock client always connects this way, with the Bedrock host set on the tls · client and tcp · client.
